Nuclear Winter deals with the figure of Nico, nomadic and unclassifiable singer who spent the last years of her life in the city of Manchester. On the basis of her personal diary, the autobiography of her son Ari, who was then by her side, and other biographical informations, the project explores the different areas where she lived. Texts and documents dialogue with these photographs in a new artist’s book published by Bartleby & Co. (edition of 10). A collection of 49 original objects complements the project.

Nuclear Winter s’intéresse à la figure de Nico, chanteuse nomade et inclassable qui a passé les dernières années de sa vie dans la ville de Manchester. Sur la base de son journal, de l’autobiographie de son fils Ari, qui était alors à ses côtés, et d’éléments biographiques variés, le projet interroge, à travers notamment une série de vues des différents quartiers qu’elle a habités ou traversés, tel ou tel aspect de sa vie.
Des textes et des documents dialoguent avec ces photographies dans un nouveau livre d’artiste publié par Bartleby & Co. (édition de 10). Une collection de 49 objets originaux complète le projet.
